ESOR Course on Advanced Imaging of the Pelvis | June 10, 2023

Course information

​This course is aimed at residents in their 4th and 5th year of training in radiology and recently board-certified radiologists interested in Advanced Imaging of the male and female Pelvis. It is an intense one-day programme, directly linked to the Armenian National Congress of Radiology. It is strictly adhered to Level II of the European Training Curriculum and is designed to improve the knowledge in the field of genito-urinary radiology by providing presentations of diseases of the genitourinary tract with cross-sectional imaging. The course includes six topics consisting of 30 minutes of theory and 40 min case-based sessions in small groups presentations enabling great interaction with the faculty members.

Learning objectives

• to learn about the advantages and limitations of modern imaging techniques for genito-urinary disease including CT and MR
• to solve frequent clinical problems in genito-urinary radiology by using various imaging modalities
• to give advice for image interpretation and reporting of various genito-urinary imaging studies to provide a differential diagnosis for common and less common pathologic conditions of the genito-urinary system.
