ESOR Course on Advanced MR of the Abdomen | September 21, 2023
Course information
The course is aimed at senior residents, board-certified radiologists and fellows interested in abdominal oncologic imaging. It is designed as an intense one-day programme, directly linked to the Romanian National Congress of Radiology. A particular focus will be on the applications of MRI in Abdominal Oncology in liver, pancreatic, and rectal cancer in particular on diagnostic criteria, staging principles and clinical role of imaging. This course will also highlight the latest advances in MRI regarding image acquisition and contrast agents for liver imaging techniques,. Renowned European experts will ensure a high-quality teaching programme, combining lectures and workshops, allowing for interactive case discussions.

- To learn the latest innovations of MRI in the abdomen
- To review the diagnostic potential of imaging in the diagnosis and staging of rectal cancer
- To review the evolving role of MRI in pancreatic diseases
- To understand the diagnostic and staging challenges of MRI in the diagnosis of primary liver cancer
