Course information
This course is aimed at last-year residents, board-certified radiologists, and fellows, who are interested in Oncologic Imaging. The focus is on advanced imaging strategies, diagnostic criteria and challenges when dealing with some of the most important chest, abdominal, and neuro malignancies. An outstanding European faculty will ensure a high-quality teaching programme, combining lectures and interactive case discussions.
Learning objectives
- to be aware of the lung cancer screening programmes
- to get familiar with multimodality imaging of lung cancer
- to review the importance of imaging in pancreatic cancer
- to understand the role of imaging in brain metastases
- to know the most common imaging presentations of malignant tumors of the bile ducts
- to review the diagnosis clues of glioblastomas and their differentials
- to understand the technique and indications of chest biopsy
